With the donation of his photographic services to the NHLT, David McCarthy’s high definition panoramic photography will soon be on permanent display at the grounds of both the Long Wharf and Quinnipiac Meadows land preserves. His photography will serve as the images on the new trail signs depicting the surrounding environment. Instillation is expected fall of 2015.

Forests and People: Investing in a Sustainable Future

Stuart Franklin of Magnum Photos, best known for his celebrated photograph of a man defying a tank in Tiananmen Square in 1989 chose six finalists from over 900 submissions received from across the globe. David McCarthy’s image Titled “The Maya,” was selected to represent Latin America displayed at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation’s pavilion during the XIV World Forestry Congress in Durban, South Africa from 7-11 September 2015.
